Converting Investments Into AMEX Rewards

If you have an American Express Rewards account, you can receive up to 50,000 points when you open and fund, or add new money to an existing, non-retirement Fidelity brokerage account.

The offer is valid for new and existing customers until the end of the year.

All you have to do is register your AMEX card with Fidelity at this link. Deposit $25,000, $50,000 or $100,000 into the account and you will earn 15,000, 25,000 or 50,000 points, respectively.

It takes less than a minute to register and in 10-12 weeks the points will show up in your rewards account.

Advisors and their clients can redeem the points for a number of perks, including travel packages, consumer electronics and charitable donations.
